It's important to first acknowledge and validate your son's feelings. It's normal for children to have mixed emotions about their stepfamily, and it's important to create a safe space for him to express his feelings. Encourage open communication and try to understand the root of his feelings. Consider seeking family therapy to help navigate the complexities of blended families and to provide support for your son as he adjusts to the new family dynamic. Additionally, continue to foster a positive and supportive relationship with your son, and be patient as he works through his emotions. **
